Award Announcements!!!
On behalf of the Board, and the Scholarship Selection Committee, I would like to personally thank each and everyone of you for applying for scholarships through the Faith & Education Scholarship Fund. We had an excellent applicant pool and were delighted with the candor, achievements, and spiritual commitment that each applicant expressed. Now on to our very first award winners!
We are pleased to announce that Shanna Jinkerson is the first winner of the Tessie Eerligh Scharing Memorial Scholarship.
We are pleased to announce that Miriam Drehsel is the first winner of the Faith & Education Scholarship.
Our goal is to have biographies and pictures of our award winners added to the site during the first week of July.
We invite those who were not awarded a scholarship to re-apply next year and to tell other church of Christ members about FESF. Start looking for the new application procedures and deadlines at the end of December. Until then please continue to visit our website. In the upcoming months we plan to provide helpful information about the pitfalls with student debt, internships that might help your career path, and volunteer opportunities that will help you mature spiritually.
